THE RULES

HOW TO WIN

1) Download the application CorrectMe

We developed an application to test your Docker container and check if you are the winner!

2) From a terminal, execute the app

$> ./CorrectMe-linux <YOUR-CONTAINER> <YOUR-NAME>

3) Check on the Main screen if your name appears as a winner!

 

THE RULES

Develop a Docker Container who takes arguments.

Your Container has to request the main screen API with the right arguments.

Example:

$> docker run -e "TEAM=6" -e "NAME=Etienne" -e "TOKEN=Test" MyContainer

Then, your container is requesting (HTTP GET) :

http://docker.cheetah.ac/api.xml/6/Etienne/Test

THE API

GET: http://docker.cheetah.ac/api.xml/<ID-TEAM>/<NAME>/<TOKEN>

<ID-TEAM>: ID of your Team (1-10) - numeric

<NAME>: NAME of your Team (1-10) - alpha-numeric only. NO SPECIAL CHARS OR SPACES

<TOKEN>: Test - secret token, use "Test".

FAQ

I can't execute the "CorrectMe" app

On Mac or Linux, change the user rights

$> chmod 777 CorrectMe-linux
$> ./CorrectMe-linux

I don't have Docker on my laptop

Download Docker CE here: https://www.docker.com/community-edition#/download

I don't know how to check on Windows if my container is ok
Execute the following command. Replace with your information

$> CorrectMe-windows.exe MyContainer MyName
